(LosAngeles.CityRegions.Com, February 26, 2016 ) Palmdale, CA -- EAGems announced that they had successful trips to Quartzite and Tucson this year. They have returned with unique 'gems' that will be added to their available items soon, through their EAGems web site, Amazon and some through their eBay Store.
Quartzite is a small town in Arizona a few miles across the California border. In January each year miners and others from near and far, come to show off and sell what they've collected and created. It could almost be considered an annual pilgrimage for many rockhounds, buyers and re-sellers of stones and other related products. For years, this venue has offered opportunities to leave with some incredible deals and great stories for all those who come. Tucson overlaps Quartzite, starting about the end of January and into February. It magnifies the opportunities for rock buying and selling compared to what is available through Quartzite. The hotels fill with all-things rocks all over the city. Vendors come from all over the world with their treasured finds and creations. One can discover just about anything thought of that is gem, mineral or rock-related, such as exquisite diamonds, rubies, and high end jewelry, stunning agates and mineral specimens, fashion jewelry and supplies, and the rough rock and materials for making the plethora of creations available across the related markets.
For EAGems owners the trips were quick, not even seeing a quarter of the available deals. But they felt both trips were highly successful.
From Quartzite they returned with more of their popular Oco Geode Agate pendants. And this time they brought back beautiful unusual earrings of the same type, all imported from Brazil. From Tucson they were able to find a number of quality polished slices of petrified wood from Madagascar. Those will be filtering to Amazon soon.
In addition, they acquired what owner Rhonda Hedgecock considers to be absolutely breathtaking crystal mineral specimens of Amethyst and Blue Lace Agate. She commented that YouTube videos are planned to show off these amazing gems in the near future.
