Garden Utopia To Donate Window Bird Feeders To UK Nursing Home

The window bird feeder, which is designed to be mounted on the outside of a window, attracts birds to feed right up next to the window. Due to its transparent nature, the user can view nature up close - closer than with standard bird feeders.

Steve Anderson, the UK Head of Operations at Garden Utopia put forward the idea to the CEO in the USA after holding a conversation with the groundsman at a Nursing Home near his home in Yorkshire, UK. Steve said "I regularly walk my dog past an old peoples home near to where I live in the UK, and one day the weather was pretty bad and I saw a friend (who is the groundsman) working in the rain. He told me how he likes to keep the grounds looking nice for the residents as they don't have much to look at out of their windows - it was then that I put two and two together and called up Meredith in the USA".

Meredith Garcia, CEO of Garden Utopia in the USA offered have donated, as a gesture of goodwill, a number of Window Bird Feeders to the nursing home in the hope that the residents will enjoy seeing nature up close more regularly.
