"We're being asked to add stand-ups to background orders more and more," Klemp said. Wedding photo backgrounds often take the place of photo booths at receptions and sometimes do double duty as photo opportunity backdrops at pre-wedding parties. Wedding planners have been doing more with backdrops in recent years, according to Klemp.
"Sometimes we make a big logo in the center of the background with names or initials and the date. Usually these are more like the step and repeats we do for big shows, though," Klemp noted. " The background has a pattern of name and date repeated on it so no matter how people pose or group up, the name and date is in the background of the photo."
