Frates American Glass And Lori Dennis Glass Art Launches At High Point

(LosAngeles.CityRegions.Com, April 12, 2016 ) Los Angeles, California -- Los Angeles, Celebrity Designer, Lori Dennis' latest collaboration with American, glass artist Doug Frates will debut at the Spring 2016 High Point Market. The collection is part of a series of Designer partnerships for Frates American Glass. Other designers include Hammerton Lighting and Gary Inman.

Dennis' Zigguart piece is inspired by South American indigenous architectural detailing, Aztec pyramids and colors found in the region.
They are compromised of a hand blown glass technique, and come in four color ways: blue/onyx, gold/onyx, silver/onyx and emerald/crystal.

"I've been inspired by my travels to Latin countries and see the industrial, rustic trends trending toward ethnic, global, especially Latin American shapes and forms," says Dennis. "I was passionate about creating a piece that embodied the beautiful decorative elements of those countries." Echos of Latin influenced design have been trending lately in clothing and home fashion. Leading retailers Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein and Pottery Barn have covered the trend in their latest print campaigns and product lines. "Being able to produce hand made accessories of the this quality is a dream come true," comments Lori. "I know I gave Doug a hard time coming up with how to produce the mold and the right shape, but it was worth it in the end and I'm sure he agrees."

The Zigguart debuts April 18-23 in the temporaries section in the Suites at Market Square and retail for under $300 each. The Zigguart is the third new product launch for Lori Dennis Inc in the last 12 months, including a rug line for Jaipur Lifestyle and Unbreakable Glasses for Lori Dennis Home.
